So the Accounting exam is over!
My post-exam comment:
During the reading time, I was like "hmm okay, joey it's not too bad. it's pretty fine.. oh wow.. waaa 4 marks just for this? imma get this right.. mmmm.. yessss.. no hard balance day adjustment questions... uhhuh.. yeaah.. mmhmm."
When I held my pencil and started answering the questions, particularly the stupid stock questions, I.....failed myself. In the whole study design, I felt that the Stock chapter was the easiest. No seriously. I thought the "lower of cost and NRV value" was the second easiest (easiest is the gay variance report).
But in the exam, that damn part was fucking hard. I lost 5 marks already, for not calculating the value of stock correctly, and recording the wrong amounts for stock write down.
And I lost another 3 marks on the rent revenue ledger, which will lead to me losing marks on the profit and loss statement and the extract of P&L Variance report. aaaaaaah! I wanna cry. :(
The rest of the exam was okay though.. Okay as in, do-able. But arghhh fuck my stupid confidence. I was trying to channel my panic mode into..some I don't know what zen-happiness shit which transformed into a bit of confidence which lead me to stuffing up. Aaaah maybe panicking is a good thing =S
OKAY AFTER THE EXAM, I was moaaanning and complaining about my mistakes D:
Estelle was screaming her throat out (bloody high pitch I swear) about her key indicator question which was worth only a mark. But she got it right -______-"
May swore "FUCK" because of her mistakes. Twice. I'm thoroughly shocked.
Ohmygod you know what - I'm the ONLY person this year taking Accounting in my sch who has a student number starting from 89!!! Cos I was checking the seating arrangement, looking for the numbers starting with 89.. and I only saw one, which is MY NUMBER.
I told Kevin about it and he's like "OH SO YOU'RE THE 89 PERSON!" and he started calling me 89. I feel so... special.
Then, Estelle, May, Alvin & I wagged and left for Max Brenner's. Mmmmmmm awesome waffles for lunch! X)
Estelle, May and I went to the secret base muahaha. And yeah, took pics. Pics are with Estelle and May cuz I'm too pro as I didn't bring my camera =D

BYEBYEEEEE ACCOUNTING. SO LONG FAREWELL, AUF-WIE-DER-SHEN GOODBYEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I can't wait to finish the whole VCE THING.

racist bitch's day!
Last week, Estelle and I were having a conversation about May. We were like, "Dude, May's birthday's coming soon.. and it's near the effed up accounting exam.. I don't think she's gonna do anything man...." (well, that's not exactly what we said cos Estelle doesnt swear for nuts) So we came out with a brilliant idea - to surprise her! :)
On Friday, we started going around the school asking people to come on Monday :P
After school, Estelle and I went to Bread Kingdom to choose May's cake! Giwon suggested mocha cake, and we went ahead with it! I was worried that it might not be up to May's taste, and when I asked Estelle, she replied, "Aiya, May eat anything one la...As long as it's food."

Yesterday, I was on MSN with Zoe and we decided to run along to Safeway Woolies before going to school. We were supposed to meet up at 0740. I tried to plan how long it'd take for me to get to Woolies (that's 15 minutes), so that means I have to leave my house at 0725. It'd take roughly 20 minutes to get up yadiyada - and I woke up weeeeees in the morning, at 0645. SHARP. [psst May, see how much I love you! everyone was asleep then!]
The day before, I was rolling on my bed trying to sleep, but I couldn't sleep that easily (normally I would of slept off to dreamland before I could count to 20) as I was thinking about how to surprise May that smart thing. She's an alert person (well, sometimes) and I was afraid that she might see through us. Cuz that would suck baaaallls.
I was walking to The Glen and called Zoe in case she comes late. And I couldnt get her. Classic. I rang her up a zillion times, rang Estelle, rang Queenie (to get Zoe's HOUSE phone number). I called up Zoe's house number and her mum picked up and went, "WAAAAIIII????" I said, "errr zoe?" Zoe picked up the other line. OH THANK GOD that kid was awake :D Called Winnie to make sure she brought a lighter ahaha.
We bought chips + starburst lollies :D Then Zoe left to school earlier to prevent herself from getting screwed by her so-called hot Mr Strauss.
I went to collect the cake. I was pacing up and down, left and right, upside down, downside up because that freaking Village Walk wasn't open yet! Son of a bi- Anyways, I went from another entrance and Hallelujah; the cakeee! *plays calm music* Downside to it : CANNOT FREAKING FIT INTO THE PLASTIC BAG PROVIDED.
I got sooo fidgety and all, I shoved the cake into my Country Road bag. So I ended up walking to school like a kid with a locker of books in her bag. So heavy....but it was worth it! :D
My locker bay is situated right beside the entrance of the sci-tech centre. I was so bloody worried that May might pop outta nowhere and give ME a surprise instead. So I got this guy near my locker to help me "cover up". But he didn't -__-" Yeah, so I shoved the cake into my locker, closed my locker, turned around and.... "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAY!!!!" *gives hug, in the meantime, feels 100% relieved that the timing was right*
Ran into Physics. Got everything settled. *wipes sweat* But Estelle and I were worried because the cake is in the locker =P I was worried that it might melt away or something O.O I'm a paranoid person. Estelle and I were telling Sherilynn about the plan. I told Sherilynn that I was worried because May might see through the whole plan cos she's smart. Sherilynn replied, "noooo she isn't smart. *scoffs*" HAHAHHA, good point!
Just before my GMA test, Queenie popped out beside me and asked if I wanna put the cake in a fridge at one of the food tech rooms. YESSS! :D
I told Estelle about the plan I devised ;D

During recess, Estelle and I would talk about how Mrs Tan wants to see us both during lunch (that gives us an excuse to run away and get ready). During lunch, they'll go to the usual lunch spot. When we're ready, Estelle will text Darleen to "escort" May over with the excuse of "Darleen, Evon and Pris wanting to see their Bio teacher and Sherilynn wants to tag along and drags May along at the same time".
Sounds like a pretty darn good plan huh?

So they both went up.

VCE CHANGES PEOPLE temporarily
I am NOT kidding.
Even the punkiest gangter-est people in school (okay fine, my definition of "punkiest, gangster-est people" are "scary-looking" people. need I say more?) are obediently (well maybe not) sitting their asses on their chairs, studying their brains off, trying to cram every single information and stuff the notes into their brains and hoping that something would come out of it. Everyday when Estelle and I go to the library for some decent studying, we'll see Year 12 students sitting down, and hell, it's a interesting sight, because not only the smartest nerdiest people are studying, even the gangstaaaaas are studying too, instead of swapping ciggies! Hahaha joking joking. :P (No names mentioned)

This week can be described by just one word ;
MAD.
I did my Physics test and my Chemistry SAC on Tuesday and holy mother f- , it was too much of a load to carry. BOTH Physics and Chemistry, BOTH the HARDEST science subjects on a day. Yay me. I'm lucky I'm still alive. *inhales*
Hillary and I are the random-est things ever hahaha! After the Chem sac, we had Physics together.
Hill : So Joey, did u rape the paper or did u get raped?
Me : Ahhh, I guess it was mutual. I raped it, it raped me. It was a pleasant ride though.
Okay come on people, LAUGH WITH ME.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Jiayeei, Alvin, Tony, Victor, Tammy and Allan did their Chinese oral on Tuesday. I sent all of them a text each, telling them that I'll give them a portion of my luck each. (i'm such a nice friend, it's crazy)
Jiayeei and Tony claimed that I spilt bad luck onto them. BOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO T-T Cuz apparently they "failed" it.
I thought Tuesday was the worst day.. until yesterday. When everything fell apart. I broke down.
You see, I've been working on my Accounting preparation so much that I began to dismiss everything - Methods especially. Every class did their test on logs (chapter 8) this week, but my teacher was being such a slow ass, we were only up to 8.5. So yesterday, he taught us stuffs on 8.5 and said "Okay you should be able to do 8.5 up to 8.8. Start working now, I know everyone is working at different levels... But yeah, if you want a chat about logs or even life, call me...alright?"
He added, "We will do the test next Wednesday".
I fucking flipped out, joy. I was planning to skip school on Wednesday so that I can prepare myself to the fullest for my VCE exam on next Thursday.
Mel (who's planning to wag on Wed for Accounting too) told the teacher that she wants to do it on Friday as in TODAY, and she managed to convince me to do it TODAY, when I haven't even started on a shit. I didn't know how to draw log/exponential graphs and all that bullcrap. It was fucking horrid.
I flipped out like mad cos I really wanted to concentrate full-on on Accounting. I realised how little time I have to work on Accounting. I have 13 practice exams waiting for me to fill up, as I'm typing. I have no time at all.
So the wonderful Joey Woo did what she was expected to do....
PANIC.
I asked Wasniewski if I could do it on Tuesday. And it suddenly hit me that it's a public holiday on Tuesday (Melbourne Cup). I dont have Methods lessons on Monday.
So basically, I was fucked over.
I was definitely gonna get raped over by Methods.
I didn't know anything at all. Yesterday, I just STARTED on the chapter. I don't listen to Wasniewski in class. I couldn't GET what he teaches in class. No one could, in fact.
Yeah and so I panicked. We had GMA after Methods. My GMA friends were trying their hardest to calm my nerves. I was basically a bundle of nerves -.-" Meenal was going all "Trust me Joey, logs is like the easssieest thing ever". Note : she says this EVERY TIME before we do a Methods test.
I was fucking freaking my ass out because of both Methods and Accounting. The thought of not doing Accounting for a day is mad. This is how much it affects me. It's crazy.
I cried during the break before Chem, and during Chem. T.T Tony could tell I was very stressed. Sighhhhhhhhh.
So after school, I did Methods full-on for a whole day. I slept at 2am =(
Next day (ie. today), I did it. And...
I RAPED IT.

53/60. Not bad, considering the fact that I studied one day BEFORE the fucking test. (I made quite a few careless mistakes ughh, or else I would've gotten higher marks)
I was supposed to do my GMA test YESTERDAY. But my lovely teacher didn't come to school (without telling us anything), leaving most of us pisseddddd like piss.
So today, everyone was hoping for Dr Cobb to come.... I was praying hard for his arrival.
And BOOOOMZZZZ, he came!!!!!
and told us that we're doing the test on Monday.

Woooh Chem class today was interesting.
We were starting on our Chem revision (prac exam under exam conditions), and when Miss McRae left the class for a while, we were like, "Dude wtf is a diprotic acid?" and the whole class broke into a chatter. This teacher came in, puzzled at our antics because of the way we were seated (exactly like as if we were doing a SAC), and questioned us. Hahahahah I couldn't stop laughing then.
Sherilynn, Alvin, Josh and I got called up to the senior centre for no apparent reason halfway through :S So scary, I thought we were gonna get screwed for something we did/didn't do.
We were asked to complete this survey made by Melbourne University.
Yessss, a good reason to skip a bit of chem! :D
We asked the teacher, why choose us of all people. She said, "oh I chose the higher achiever students."
WHOAAAAH I was so flattered LOL.
The survey was fucking stupid. But hey, anything will do, when it's Chem we're talking about! :P

Okay let's get serious.
There's about 5 days to my Accounting exam, and I have 13 prac exams to do, plus heaps of reading theories. I really hope I won't panic like I always do, and just go with the flow. I panic way too much, and I can't afford to screw up. I want to get an A+ for this. My average for accounting sacs is not good. Not good at all. Fuck my Unit 1 sac marks. I raped this unit's sacs except for the last one. I was soooooo disappointed, you have no idea.
I want to get a raw score of at least 40/50 for VCE Accounting. That is my goal. Do, or get fucked over by my self-esteem. Yes I'm competitive. Got a prob? If you do, *shoves up pencil case that says "Do I look like I freaking care?!"*
Oh for those who don't know how serious VCE is, take it like as though it's the same as A Levels or STPM. Yeah, this is BUSINESS. If you get good marks, you get offered by good universities. If you don't, well, too bad.
And I don't want to let my dad down...
Okay I guess that's it. I'm gonna update my blog after the Accounting exam.

preparations!!
May and I just did a prac exam together, under examination time conditions! It's my very first one :S Yeah I
know I'm a slow dimwit thanks.
It's close to 1am now, and I'm pretty sure that my lethargy took control of me, because when I was doing it, I was actually feeling alert and perky because I know May is working her arse off doing the exam, but in actual fact, I was not.
After doing the whole thing, May came online, and we discussed.
I compared my answers with the suggested solutions, and what can I say - I'm the blurrest bitch ever because
- I completely reversed the General Journal entries for the sales returns transaction - debit became credit, credit became debit - costing me 3 marks.
- The Balance Day Adjustments question requires the candidates to record balance day adjustments for ACCRUED INTEREST REVENUE; and instead of writing ACCRUED INTEREST REVENUE, Professor Joey Woo wrote ACCRUED WAGES. (clap, clap, clap) This costed me 7 marks because answers after that were consequences of that big careless mistake of mine.
- I wrote that the profitability of the business has IMPROVED, when it actually DETERIORATED, because I misread the ratios for the profitability indicators. This costed me 4 marks.
Doodeedoo; I got 70/90 for this one. How to get A+?!??! Dayuum. I told ya I was blur. Stupid stupid stoooopeeed!
I always get help from people in Accounting, mostly May and Joshua and Mrs Blazejewski haha!
I ask May on MSN all the time, so she'll start explaining something to me whilst I try digesting her hardcore explanation.. Somewhere in between the process, the whole thing made sense to me (it's ALWAYS like that), and I'll go butt into poor May's explanation, saying, "Oooh I got it already! Because............, right?!" May will go ".....yeaaaaa!"
